I was there this morning and ordered 35$ worth of donuts and gave a tip just to come home to eat old , hard donuts . Spent 35$ on donuts that were old and not fresh !!! Very disappointed. I do not recommend this place for donuts. Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $30–50 Food: 1

Went here to talk about cake testing as I was told by my finances aunt that they partnered with wouletts bakery. We were told by the main location that they don't offer cake testing. Come to the store and both the folks working there were super kind. They gave us a 3 cupcake trial, 2 different slices of cake, and I bought a donut because I haven't been here for a while. The experience of how they treated us is what I enjoy and the cake was the best especially the signature one. Not a big variety to choose from. Mini cupcake priced at $3.50. overpriced in my opinion. Nice building but very dark inside. Blueberry donuts was very good. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I used to love this place when it was a real in-house bakery with traditional recipes and friendly happy staff. The recipes have changed not for the better. The beehives and bee stings I miss them! Everything is so commercial and common. It feels empty in their not warm and inviting any longer. And the staff are anything but happy and familiar any more. Hans was so great when it was Hans in its original family run firms with old recipes etc. now, our family has decided we get the same quality cheaper at Hy-Vee or Cub and so simply take donuts home now. Well, Wouletts took over and they ship all the bakery items up and then Hans just set some up. The staff can be kind of crabby and they’re quick to tell you. Nothing is baked here. They don’t have their good caramel rolls anymore and they don’t have their whipped cheesecake. My two favorites. I did get a chocolate covered donut that was sufficient but nothing exciting. I've been going to Hans Bakery since I was very young. My Grandparent's house was nearby and we would ride our bikes there for a special treat. I always thought their 'Texas donuts' were the biggest and greatest dessert in the world (they're as big as your face). I'm so glad they've been able to stay open all these years. Now I'm able to take my 3 year old daughter there to enjoy just as I did when I was her age. Their donuts have a flavorful dough and delectable glaze. I also recommend their decorated/frosted sugar cookies and of course, the Bee Sting is delish. Great dessert to pick up and bring to a special occasion, always a hit. August 14, 2023 10:00am one lone customer reading a book. Years ago this was a place “to be seen at”. Now, my oh my how things change. No baking goes on in this building anymore, everything is shipped in from Woullet’s. I must say our three donuts were quite good. Bakery items five stars. The rest of the place no stars. My coffee looked like it came from an oil rig in some far off state, jet black! Possible the worst coffee I have had in my many years on earth. The exterior had weeds growing all over the place. The patio was a shambles. The floor inside may have been swept or mopped a very long time ago. The bathroom, only use in a personal emergency. Very untidy.

Nice variety of baked goods and friendly staff. Apparently this place has been here so long it’s a well-known and respected bakery. Anyplace where retired people congregate to drink coffee, eat goodies and share a laugh is a great place to be…so unpretentious!

This place is amazing. The environment is chill, comfortable and very friendly family. Every Saturday morning there are multiple families, or young kids with their grandparents just enjoying some amazing donuts. I mean, these these donuts are fresh. They have an amazing selection and they taste amazing!! The caramel rolls were just okay and needed maybe a warm up but man, so many options! They have fresh coffee for purchase, and a soda fountain, milk and juice options. Plus, you can walk out with a great stash of tasty treats and not break the bank. You need to come by here, you won’t be disappointed! :)
