When living in South Jersey, there was no shortage of diners to frequent. Where I live now, diners are not in the vocabulary. During a weekend visit with family, my sister and I decided to get breakfast here. We liked it so much we went 2 days in a row. I loved the chipped beef. I asked for extra onions in the home fries and was not disappointed. Would go again if I'm in the area. This is THEE spot in Hagerstown. This family diner is the one spot that everyone who lives in Hagerstown seems to go to. I've only experienced the breakfast here but I've studied the entire menu and plan to come back to try some of the dinner and dessert options. I was recently there with my mom and granddaughter. I had the deluxe breakfast. My eggs were perfect over medium with bacon and potatoes. My pancakes were yummy with lots of butter and syrup. I recommend coming here for some home style cooking. I took my mom and my daughter to this diner at my baby girl's request. It was lovely. Food delicious 😋 and we got hot chocolate and cappuccino there. Both delicious. We also got cakes and pies to go. Prices a bit steep but comparable to other dinners. I am glad I took them. Our waitress was fantastic. She was friendly and very pleasant. Happy holidays everyone. My family and friends came here after my grandmothers funeral, about 35 of us. Dave was our server and went above and beyond! We had our food out within 30 mins and I just could not believe how fast and attentive Dave was. The food is amazing and I’ll definitely be coming back here! My husband and I ate here last Sunday. Being on a short road trip. We were seated quickly and ordered just as quick. Our breakfasts came out fast and hot. My husband had 2 eggs over easy with bacon. It comes with home fries and toast. He also got scrapple. He said everything was good and hot. Scrapple was grilled. I had the Western omelette, it came with home fries and toast. It was nice and hot. Overall the meal came out fast and hot and tasty. If we are in the area we will visit again. There is quite an extensive menu to look over. the food is pretty good! I think my waitress was stressed out because they lacked a host but honestly she was really attentive to our table. The reason for the four stars is that I wasn’t expecting to get something pie-filling adjacent when I ordered strawberries whip cream on my french toast, I wish the menu was slightly more specific on that. We decided to try this place and loved it. The desserts alone are amazing! We loved the cake so much that we ordered another piece to go. There is a large menu and the food and service were great!

I had heard some mixed reviews and decide to try it out with my parents/family when they came to visit. Very glad we did! Staff was friendly, seemed to know lots of the customers personally,, the place is large and clean, lots of cakes on display. Variety of food, i got the fried veal with seafood bisque (choice of soup or salad and 2 sides) and pickled beets and pepper cabbage (sorta like coleslaw but with sweet/vinegary pickled peppers in in, it's amazing and my first time having it). Other food my family has was great as well, my mom had the roast beef, dad had broiled scallops (large portion, not over or under cooked) with cream cheese and apple butter (even gave extra apple butter) and allowed him to do a baked potato instead of mashed potatoes, and my sister loved her gyro. They have some arcade games out front and even a bitcoin machine which I've never seen before.
