This is quite a place for Fort Ann. The food was ample and quality unmatched in my travels. There was a band playing good old tunes of my Mom and Dad's Era. Service was excellent by Irma and Jeff ( the owners ). Grumbellies had quite a turnout and luckily we secured a table by the Pellet stove. You Will enjoy while you are here. Value priced as well! Finally stopped by and am very glad we did! The service is very friendly and welcoming and the food is phenomenal! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu, and to check out their live music nights... (I think on Tuesdays) I would give them 10 stars! Grumbellies is nothing short of a hidden gem. I stopped here with a friend on the way to Killington Vermont and was completely blown away by not only the food, but also by the warmth of their staff. I ordered the prime rib special and the hottest wings they have, called the 'Bio' wings. My friend ordered a calzone, which if I'm being honest, is the biggest calzone I have ever seen (see the picture for proof). The steak was cooked perfectly and the gravy went great with mashed potatoes and green beans on the side. The wings were also some of the best I've ever had, saucy but still very crispy. On my way out I even bought a jar of the Bio sauce because of how impressed I was. Mom and Pop restaurants like this don't get the credit they deserve, and you would be doing yourself a huge disservice by not taking an hour out of your day to stop here for a meal and chat with some of the friendliest people in up state New York.
