We arrived an hour before closing. The sign at the host stand said “Please seat yourself,” but while only a few tables were occupied, all of the unoccupied tables were covered with dirty dishes. Without a clean place to sit, we stood by the host stand for 5-10 minutes and were never greeted. You would expect staff at a restaurant to acknowledge their customers and help them to a clean table. Ground Control Craft Food & Drink did neither, so we left. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Was so excited to come back here but it was one of those visits where most things didn’t go right. They messed up the order, service was very inattentive, fries came cold and saggy, lettuce in salad was cut in very large saggy pieces, pizza toppings were very unevenly spread. There was just such a lack of attention to details and everything took a very long time to come and then parts of the order were missing. The beer and burger were good and so was the pizza dough. 2 stars for the food. It was tasty. However, the restaurant is filthy. We stared at the same single sweet potato fry on the table next to us from the time we sat down until the time we left. Guests next to us finished their meal and nothing was removed from the table, despite the place having only 5 tables and plenty of staff. I am a firm believer that if you have an open ductwork ceiling, it needs to be dusted. This has to have close to an inch of dust right over the pizza oven. Last thing I want is dust falling on me or my food. Server didn't bother to clear any of our plates so we made room by setting them on the dirty table next to us. I'm sure it went unnoticed. I was pretty excited to check this place out but we won't be back. If they are ok with their dining room being so messy and gross, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Oh, and 1 more thing. Please tell the chef to wash his apron or stay in the kitchen. That definitely had more than today's food on it. Do better Ground Control. Just based off the service, this places gets a 5 star review!! Lyviana was my server when I ordered takeout and I have NEVER had such great customer service at a restaurant. She was incredibly accommodating, had a beautiful smile, and made sure I was completely taken care of with speedy service. Make sure to see her if you’re in!! Honestly, the BEST SPOT in GOODYEAR I’ve been too! if you’re in town or wanna try a new spot with amazing atmosphere and food, come here! Me n my boyfriend stumbled across this spot looking for a smoothie place, but I’m so thankful we found it! We tried the beesting pizza since we weren’t super hungry. But after reading the menu’s and seeing other people’s order, We’ve decided this spot is definitely the next dinner date and we will be bringing friends and family when we can! Our server, jay, was such a joy. Will be asking for her every time we come in! Amazing service! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was delicious and there was a large variety of local beers and Mead! I had never tried mead, ( wine with honey 🍯 and other flavirings). I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich and a side salad. Yum & spicy! Service was good but on the slow side. All if the food was above average. The portions were reasonable. I highly recommend! Microbreweries are not all built the same. Ground Control has it going on, top to bottom! Excellent beer selection, back up with an amazing food menu! I had a Hazy IPA and black bean burger with sweet potato fries. It would be misjudgment to not mention the outstanding service we received. 2 people, food and 3 beers around $50, well worth it! Great food and even better craft beer selection, definitely worth a stop in. Gastro pub your feel with a nice menu selection. Everyone we've had there has been great. And between the craft beer selection on tap and in the coolers to take home, hard to beat. 🍺!! They also have a full bar as well with a nice bourbon/whiskey selection 🥃(sorry, didn't pay attention to the rest of the spirits, but I know they're there! Lol!) This is a great local place for Monday night trivia and a local craft beer. The wood fired pizzas are very good, wings are tasty too. Sweet potato fries are a plus along with the grilled chicken sandwich and black bean burger. Salads are decent and can make them into a wrap if requested…i sub out the fried chicken for the grilled chicken. Ambiance is similar to a low key sports bar. Call ahead to ensure they can stream desired game.
