This was definitely a small town local inspiration. It was like walking into someones house while they were eating. Everyone looked up and I didn't know but it felt like everyone was somehow related. I stood by the waiter for what seemed like the longest time and she finally looked at me and I asked do I sit anywhere. This is how it started. Ordered the hamburger steak with tots. Was expecting it covered in brown gravy but it wasn't. Asked for onions they never made it. It was definitely big and tasty but I have never been served a hamburger steak without gravy. I was actually hoping for a good stiff cocktail drink but it seemed it was a beer bar family pub house. Whole groups of families were here with their kids. Not the pub I was thinking of.
