I love place. Found it while working out of town. I go out of my way to eat here because it really is like going to grandmas house. Great food and a lot of it. Awesome place to stop by on the way out to or coming from LA, out to Joshua Tree. We stopped there on our way back from a great weekend in 29 Palms. Food was fantastic - biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, the whole 9 yards. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. It's a restaurant that harkens back to yesteryear for sure, but the quality and the service actually stand up. Love this place and I have good memories there. I've been here a few times and it's always consistent with service and food. There are a bunch of mature experienced servers sprinkled in with some young folks. I dine solo and I swear almost every single server when they walk past ask me if I'm doing good and offers me coffee. They all have a smile on their face and they all are very pleasant.
