My family and I had dinner at this cafe today on 3/11/24. We were seated and when approached by the waitress “Carly” she did not say hello or great us. Instead she tells us that we can’t have our baby stroller by our table. It’s a fire hazard so she can either move the stroller or we could move to the back of the restaurant. After that our experience got worse and worse. Our 4 year old son spilled his soda. And as our husband went to go find some napkins he overheard our waitress Carly upset saying this is a nightmare right after I asked her for a towel. After the mess was cleaned up we were given our salads. I asked Carly for silverware. She said okay no problem then disappeared. When she came back out she began helping every other table never even looking our direction. After waiting about 10 minutes We then had to ask a waitress that was not even responsible for our table if she could bring the silverware. Our kids food came out first and we could not even get our waitresses attention to bring condiments. When my husband and I received our food I asked for a refill on my drink and she looks at me and says “give me a second” instead of saying okay I’ll be back in a few minutes our sure just one sec. Our steak was tough and extremely rare. We asked for cheese on our broccoli and we’re given nacho cheese instead of shredded. Our waitress was friendly to every table besides ours. This whole experience was horrible. Carly was actually the most rude waitress we have ever encountered. But on a positive note every other employee was very friendly. Carly may need some retraining. Unfortunately we will not be returning due to one bad apple. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The quality of the food really surprised us, for a casino cafe out of the way the food and the service was outstanding. To be fair, we've only eaten breakfast here so we can't speak to the dinner menu, but I can't imagine the quality would drop overly much. I had the eggs benedict and the eggs were poached to perfection, and my wife had the steak and eggs. Now normally the steak served for breakfast especially at a casino is barely legally steak by any form of reference, but hers was thick, juicy, well seasoned, and cooked beautifully. Service and prices were good, but what's the point if the food is not. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and coleslaw. The coleslaw was flat with no flavor. The grilled chicken sandwich tasted and smelled of stale cooking oil and had no seasoning. Save your money and stomach and eat else where. It was a great place to stop. We just ate there on the way home from Death Valley. Food is average, and the atmosphere is like any casino diner.
