My parents have been coming here for years so that should attest for something. I personally have never gone here on my own just strictly with my parents. Not that I'm opposed to that, it just seems more of a family type establishment rather than a date night destination. The atmosphere is casual, like a step above a Rams horn and the menu has a pretty wide range of options to fit varying tastes. The service is always good as it is a family owned business I assume the staff is expected to meet a certain criteria since it is a family's reputation at stake. The meals are prepared with a homestyle feel with nice sized portions. My daughter is a big fan of shrimp scampi and unfortunately she had to send it back last night as she said it had a soap taste. I expect this is a one off since we have dined here several times without incident and felt inclined not to mention it in this review but for the sake of transparency I decided to. This definitely would not cause hesitation on my part to return and I still completely recommend. On the other hand, my wife said it was the second best lamb shank she's ever had, the first being a $100 meal in Los Angeles so take that into consideration. Prices are reasonable and and there's good reason they have been in business 3 generation's.

Fantastic food, excellent service and definitely a delightful treat for anyone looking for a special night out. Definitely A 1, the food is unbelievable. Definitely going back. The wife loved it, as did I. Thank you to the excellent chef and wait staff.
Went again and again thinking maybe it was just a good day for them. Nope its normal ha ha ha what a great place,food,staff. Wish there were more places as good. Figured out that the bar is set to high here at Golden Eagle for any other spot to reachtheir level, oh well Golden Eagle has lots of room for all of us. Dont miss out. Lets go......

Golden Eagle takes you back to when things were good. Service good, food good, they have been doing it for 40+ years and they know how to do it. I see staff that have been there for over 20 year's! You always see the owner helping out and Fred making sure that things are going well. The food never disappoints and if you are looking for a good tenderloin with Mario sauce look no further; best around hands down. Spaghetti Bolognese is always good and the fish is always cooked perfectly You can't go wrong if you are not feeling steak as everything is tasty.
Always delicious filet. Never disappointed. Love going to the golden eagle. Never mind paying good money for great food. Will be back.
