Horrified learning how my middle age 70's friends were treated at this location, Friday evening @ 7:00 pm they needed a place to eat & get settled in their hotel for the night. They had the buffet & ate & as they were leaving they were confronted & stopped & the wife was told to empty her jacket pockets & was told she was taking food. People were all around them & she was so embarrassed as she put HER belongings out & she had 3 blue gloves that she used getting food & she put the used gloves in her pocket. They said we are sorry, you can leave. These employees should have been more certain before they made this judgement decision & at that time of night they were just going to throw food out anyway. Just wanted to let everyone know sadly what happened. I can promise you one thing, I will NOT ever stop at a Golden Coral & I hope this is not a common happening for customers to be treated this way.
