This is an absolutely delightful place to bring your out of town guests to experience a real working fruit and pie ranch. And who doesn’t love pie! I always order several pies for the holiday for friends and they’re delighted to receive. If you give away as gifts you might wish to pre order before Thanksgiving because they will sell out. The frozen pies are a good choice because you can buy and deliver and they can bake for the holidays. Best wishes for the holidays & pick up a wonderful pie or two! A favorite stop for pie. Apple or berry or strawberry is great. A la mode is nice too, sharing with friends even better. If you are early enough they have pastries in same fruit that they have pie, it is lovely. You can eat inside or in the back yard with coffee, tea or apple juice. Great place to visit. Cute ranch with specialty items to purchase, antiques, and of course the pies! Those ladies know how to throw down on some pie. They have all kinds of pies from apple, blackberry, two berries, and top it off with some ice cream. Of course it's hot outside 90 degrees so show some love to the baker's.

The on-site bakery and pie shop at Gizdich Ranch deserve a special mention. Their pies, particularly the olallieberry and apple varieties, are legendary. The flaky, buttery crusts and generous fruit fillings are a slice of heaven. You can also savor fruit turnovers, cookies, and other baked goodies.

We went strawberry picking in mid August and there were plenty to pick still! The valley where the farm is located was pretty nice and cool on the day we visited. We got our own boxes and picked so many strawberries! They were delicious and the best we've eaten. We ended up making strawberry jam. The ice cream and pies at the ranch were also very tasty! I would come back again for other fruit picking. So glad we found this, we don't need to drive till Brentwood for berry picking! 🙂

Pies: If it’s your first time don’t get a whole pie instead get a slice from the food counter. Though I’m not impressed I might try other flavors next time when I visit. Apples in the farm are not organic. Come early as it gets hot in the afternoon.

Great place for great pie. Farm has an antique shop. U pick the fruit yourself at the orchards if you want. Whole pies or pie by the slice
Great place to stop for piece of strawberry rhubarb or apple pie. The Dutch apple pie is also good but a tad sweet for my liking.
