It was one of the most amazing meals I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection. We had the pork chop, filet and crab cakes. Desserts were fabulous. Crème brûlée and lemon blueberry mascarpone cake was amazing. This is a hidden gem and I can’t wait to go back to. This is a wonderful hidden gem in the middle of a country mile. It is a small cozy place so make a reservation. Ate there last night with good friends and had an amazingly high quality, locally sourced meal. I and my friend had the Osso Buco which was fall off the bone perfect and not drowning in heavy gravy. The gravy was light with small bits of mirpoix and very flavorful. The side of colored carrots were delightfully crisp and sweet. My friend's hubby had the crab cakes. No filler, and as a Maryland born and bred woman who NEVER eats crab cakes anywhere but what I make or in certain restaurants in Maryland, I have to say these were outstanding. I will definitely be eating them at another visit. My hubby had the BBQ pork chop. It was almost 2 inches thick and cooked to moist, juicy, tender perfection. He got the sauce on the side and it didn't even need it. I started with a beef and farro soup and everyone else had salad. Homemade dressings delicious. They do a mean Cosmo and even have a tasty champagne. Then there was dessert. A lovely cheesecake and poached pears. No words but delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere like family. Wonderful family owned restaurant! Food was delicious and the owners went to each table of guests talking with them. It was like you were their guest for dinner in their home. Literally the best culinary experience we have had in a long time. We enjoyed it so much we are headed back within the same week. Update: we celebrated our anniversary last night. Bill couldn't wait to have the meatloaf. My salmon was amazing. Great atmosphere and all around upscale restaurant in the peaceful pennsylvania country side. Just lovely. The ladies at Georgetown Eats are putting this charming century farm on the map! The food is always great and the fresh baked bread and pastries are to die for. Add a signature cocktail and GTE can't be beat! Give it a try or lunch of dinner (or Sunday Brunch).
