Wide menu with some great options. Aracini is an authentic appetizer I haven't seen anywhere else. The main dish I got was phenomenal.

We just went for the first time, and it was fantastic. Attentive and friendly staff, and everything we ordered was amazing - from the drinks to the entrees (prime rib, lasagna, and a pizza) to the desserts (profiteroles and oh, that creme brulee!). We will be back, regularly, and we recommend it!

I had a fantastic meal at Fratteli’s last night, had great service, it was a decent price and I went on my way. Then, at 5:30 in the morning, I wake up in a sweat only to need to run to my bathroom and projectile vomit all over the place, it was all the food I ate yesterday, and it’s caused me to miss my biggest work day of the year. I won’t go back after this.

The food is superb! The fried risotto balls were such an amazing appetizer. Entrees feature hearty hand made pasta, hand-made gnocchi, the most fresh, savory, and utterly delicious marinara sauce I've ever had.
The environment is between casual and fancy - it reminds me of many classic old-school Italian restaurants in Milwaukee. The menu is legitimately huge, making this a great spot to catch up with family or friends, as there's something for everyone.
The only poor part of the experience was the fact that the server took every meal to the wrong table at first. I'm not sure if they were just a little off that evening or if it's a regular concern, but they literally delivered 4 different trays to the wrong tables.

Ceaser Salad and Fried Risotto Balls
We really wanted to like this restaurant, however our experience was not good. We had no reservations, but it was just before 5pm and there were only three other guests. After a bit of discussion between the staff at the host station, we were seated. Things started out well. We ordered our drinks, which arrived promptly. We ordered entrees and soup/salad. The soup and salad were both delivered quickly and were very good. Our wait person was friendly but seemed very inexperienced and untrained. We watched as other tables arrived and were served their entrees while we continued to wait. After the initial service noted above, we didn't see our server again for more than 45 minutes, but only to watch them wait on another table and totally ignore us. Since we had another commitment, we decided that we could not continue to wait. We went to the host station to pay for what we had consumed. We were told our food "may" be ready...although no one seemed to know for certain. We were told by one of the staff that 'next time we should ask our server" if we had concerns, hard to do when we hadn't seen them for 45 minutes. The staff took no responsibility for the situation. Very disappointed to say the least. We understand that things can go wrong however, we were very unhappy with how it was handled.

Are here for my mom’s bday. Easily one of the best if not the best Italian places in the Madison area. Can’t believe how good it was. The lasagna was great. The fried calamari was fantastic, perfectly cooked not greasy or chewy. Also had the lobster ravioli which was amazing. The pasta is all from scratch. My Italian mother said the Gnocchi's were better than her own 😳. Anyways I can not recommend it enough. It doesn’t have the ambience of bar corlini, Fabiola’s, or lombardiono’s but the food is just as good if not better. Last thing is the price is also much cheaper than any of those other places.
Have been multiple times. The food is great from pasta to steak to the lamb chops. I haven’t had anything yet that I haven’t enjoyed! Excellent choice, you won’t be disappointed.
