Very dirty. Went back after 2+ years of not eating there, mistake. Grease tasted really old, bathrooms were filthy, table was wiped down by us with the last napkin in the bin. Booth seats peeling and almost no springs, so you just sink clear down. Will not be back, next time we will just drive to Altoona or Elkhart, at least until the new sports bar opens, then definitely will try that one. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I ordered 2 orders of garlic parmesan wings for pickup. An when got to friends house to watch Daytona Dual races on Thursday night. We opened up an they where plain wings. I called talked to employee to see he make it right. Said they get back with me. We'd never been to Founders before but our friends frequent a place in Ames that they said is owned by same people. Server was very nice and polite. Bloody Mary bar was great. The food was disappointing but then I remind myself it is a bar, and it was cheap. 7 years later we tried again (because it was the only option on a Sunday afternoon. Still took 10 minutes to get water. We were told they left the fryer in all night so the chicken tenders were borderline burnt. Also their draft pints are in an extra thick glass and its probably more like 12 - 14 oz size. We'll eat at Casey's before going here. 2016 visit: We walked through the front door to the patio where we waited five mintutes with absolutely no greeting while another table that came in after us was served immediately. We were extremely disappointed with the complete lack of service, so we walked out after sitting for 8 mintues with no recognition of our patronage.
