I was debating if wanted to write this but I had to say something. I have always had a stellar experience at Fogo but this last time I went left me a little miffed. As we were eating dinner, a random server came by holding a tray of mini-margaritas, she asked if I wanted to try one. I said sure. She then came by a second time with a strawberry version and again asked if I would like to try it. I obliged thinking these were just samples to entice patrons to buy the full size version. I received my bill and noticed I was charged $16 apiece for them. I questioned our regular server, who was pretty good, and he promptly took the bill to his manager. The manager came by and said that since we drank them, would have to pay. I said I would be more than happy to, however, I was never told they weren't free, I was never told that they would be charged to my bill. Manager came back a second time and said he took one off the bill and his server said she told me about the charge. I again said she never did and of course she is going to say that so as to not get in trouble. I know this sounds petty but it's the idea that I felt a little cheated, felt both should have been taken off the bill. When the word "try" is used, it is safe to assume they were complimentary. We were having a great experience up until that point. I felt disappointed when I left. The one thing that has always bothered me is meat being served on my salad plate. It's impolite. Dinner plates are dinner plates salad plates are salad plates and soup bowls are soup bowls. On this occasion Alex brought dinner plates without me even asking. I was so pleased with his service. I often feel we as customers are quick to complain but slow at giving compliments to good service. I informed Marcelo the manager of how pleased I was, but he seemed to not care about how pleased I was and more interested in telling me he doesn't mind being served dinner on his salad plates. He then went back to standing in the corner doing nothing. There was another manager, Rodrigo that I spoke to who seemed to understand how valuable of an asset Alex was. And while Marcelo did absolutely nothing to participate in helping run the restaurant; such as get drinks for customers, check the salad bar, walk around the tables and ask how everything was, if guests needed anything. Normal behavior of a manager. Rodrigo was doing everything. Believe me if I had such a lazy, uncaring manager like Marcelo I would get rid of him in 30 seconds. This experience was awful. Upon arrival to our 7:15pm reservation, there was about 50 people crammed together in between the front door and the check-in desk. Not a single employee in sight directing where the line is - everyone just jumbled and jumping in front of each other to reach the hostess first. It was pretty clear that this place was above occupancy capacity, yet the staff made zero effort to maintain order. Once we finally checked in, it wasn’t until another half hour that we got seated. My party of 7 was seated just past the check-in desk at the front. During the entire dining experience, the overcrowded entrance flooded past the lobby and near our table - so close that a couple of my friends were frequently back to back with strangers WHILE they’re eating. Not one time did the host or any staff recognize this and do something about it. Why are there DOZENS of people packed shoulder to shoulder from the entrance to PAST the front desk, where people are eating at their table, and no one addressing it?? (Check the pics) In fact, we even saw a man who didn’t want to wait for his table, offer a BRIBE to the hostess to get a table quicker. SHE ACCEPTED THE MONEY HE BRIBED HER WITH! This whole dining experience was terrible from the get-go. Can’t believe this experience was $500. Definitely never coming back here. Edit: I didn’t manage to capture all the times people were right up to our table, but you get the idea from these photos. We didn't really feel like cooking this Thanksgiving. So, we went out to eat to the fantastic all you can eat buffet at Fogo De Chao in Rosemont Have not been here since the pandemic, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. A full salad bar and a large variety of meats that the"gaucho chefs" bring to your table. We sure stuffed ourselves and enjoyed every minute! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing experience…All the meat was outstanding…remaining food matched the quality of the meat. Only thing I would change is the volume of music…overall a 5 star experience! Everything is good we have blast there. The foot is fresh and good. The service is excellent. I mean everyone. But Nick our beverage guy he is very nice and attentive. A really fine dining experience for my picky eating bfs birthday. 4/5 They have accessible parking and Valet for customers. 4/5 Seating was right away (made reservations prior). 5/5 Our hostess was extremely attentive as well. 4/5 The dishes kept rolling and as you can tell we were stuffed.
