Met a friend who happened to be passing through town. What better place to meet for conversation and a fantastic breakfast. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, plenty of good coffee, and if you can’t find a breakfast you like, you’re way too picky or have very poor taste. Breakfast options are massive. Plenty of menu items to eat healthy. A wide variety of side options; my favorite are the buttered grits…..just like my grandma used to make. And did I mention the coffee is bottomless and good? This place has never lost their quality of food. 11/22/23 update. This was their "million dollar bacon." I lol'd when I was saw this thin, and sparsely presented bacon. Thin, hy-vee bacon with black pepper and brown sugar sprinkled on. The flavors were not blended well. No where near what it once was. Skip this. Service is still exceptional, all around! I visited First Watch on a Saturday around 12. For a party of two there was no wait. The server was friendly and prompt. I ordered a cold brew which was okay, avocado toast and the traditional breakfast. The food was great! It took a few minutes to pay and leave but overall a great experience.
