After a long walk around M. C. Benton Jr. Convention Center, visit this bar and have a rest here. The varied menu based on Irish and Vegetarian cuisines is what you are offered at Finnigan's Wake. That's a nice idea to order tasty bangers & mash, scotch eggs and coleslaw. Guests can order good pancakes, asida and French toasts at this place. Delicious draft beer, scotch or liqueur are worth a try here. Most likely, you'll return to this spot later to try great coffee, juice or lemonade. The knowledgeable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at this bar is something one can call fine. Here you will pay reasonable prices. Always a pleasure being able to dine in or take out with all the amazing food options they carry!! The staff is top tier and super friendly and literally make my day anytime I pop in to say hi! The place was nice. Our server anna was very pleasant. I was surprised it was so empty on a Saturday afternoon, but i guess we stopped in at an off time. The food was good. My wife loved her scotch eggs and chips. I got a turkey wrap and fries. It is a very cool place to stop in for a quick meal with friendly service. I was super happy for them to be open again! We go here every year, until the lockdown, and they didn't open back up until this year (I think). We've always loved the service, atmosphere, food and the beer selection. Of course we weren't disappointed! Highly recommend! Loved my visit to Finnigan's - very impressed with the array of beer and whiskey selections, and the lamb & beef burger with bleu cheese was outstanding. I got the shepherds pie with mac and cheese and I couldn’t tell you which one I loved more. Both were phenomenal. The cheeses used in the mac were not overwhelming but still very flavorful. The mashed potatoes on the shepherds pie were soft and everything just went really well together. We were seated quickly, even though it was a busy Saturday, and the service was good. Everything on the menu seemed really appealing, so I will definitely be returning. Perfect Irish styled pub right in the arts district. The atmosphere is excellent, staff is super friendly, and the food was delicious. They offer pub classics like fish and chips, while also offering UK/Irish dishes like sheppard's pie and guiness stew. Highly recommend a visit and my wife and I will definitely be coming back. This place is awesome. I remember coming there before they shut down and got the fried chicken and it was the best fried chicken I'd ever had. More recently I've come here a couple of times with friends and had an awesome experiences then, too. The wings are always perfect, and they always seem to have a great deal going on a great pitcher of beer. I like some of the other bars downtown but honestly if I'm hungry, I go to finnigans wake, and if I'm looking to have great beer and well made drinks, well I'd also go to finnigans wake, they're the best of both worlds and the service is always great. I had the Finnigans famous Mac n cheese with a salad. The vegetables were fresh, the Mac was DELICIOUS, the food came out quickly, and the service was phenomenal.
