What you see is what you get. Small place, great midwest/southern food. Definitely won't leave hungry. Service is pretty good also. Lots of hype style restaurants in the area but this one is worth the stop. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Patty Melt

Very cozy family restaurant in Historic Downtown. The food was fresh and well prepared. Our server was great and made us feel like home. I had the Catfish Sandwich that was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Wife a BLT and a very tasty vegetable beef soup that was one step away from a stew. Highly recommend! Oh, and the Pink Lemonade was great! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes All Yo Can Eat Whole Cat Fish Dinner

This was our second time coming here. It was just as good this time as last. Our waitress was extremely nice and the potions are large. This is my favorite place to eat in Branson. It’s a must stop while visiting. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5
It’s always worth the wait! This is our favorite place to eat when we come to visit before heading over to Silver Dollar City! 😁 I had chicken n dumplings which was amazing. I had dental work done so I was bummed due to food limitations but they surpassed my expectations. The flavor was amazing. I haven’t had brown gravy in years that tasted that good. Everyone’s fried okra was fresh and hot right out of the fryer. Also their hand scrub in the restroom is incredible. I’m getting some for a family member who already has everything for Christmas. I’m so glad we went. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Farmhouse Omelet

There's always a line for a reason. Excellent service & food. Pasture-raised eggs, homemade biscuits, grass-fed cow butter. If I could change anything it would be fresh not frozen potatoes. Nonetheless it's the best breakfast in Branson. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was decent, well done home style food. The chicken fried steak was what appeared to be from chopped sirloin. It was thick enough but didn't remind of steak. Maybe they pounded it so long it was ground up 🤔. The chicken and dumplings were mighty fine, and the Patty melt was very good. I could have done without the cinnamon apples, they were not all that special, makes me wish I had tried the green beans, but they didn't look out of the ordinary from my neighbors. I would eat here again but I'm still looking for the good stuff Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant was great. It is a God-fearing praying restaurant because I saw a lot of people praying over their food before they starting eaten and there's a lot of Bible verses around. The food was great. I had the platter and the ham steak was very delicious. Easy to cut and tasty. Please visit the gift shop because they have all kinds of little neat things in there for gifts and hand scrub that makes your hands feel very soft. The Farmhouse Restaurant: Where the Chicken is Pam Fried and the Apple Dumplings are Divine I’ve been to a lot of places in my life, but nothing prepared me for the culinary delight that awaited me at the Farmhouse Restaurant in Branson, Missouri. This place is a hidden gem, a family-owned eatery that serves up some of the best Southern food you’ll ever taste. And I’m not exaggerating. This is the real deal, folks. My wife Kimberly and I paid the Farmhouse Restaurant a visit this week looking for some delicious mouth-watering food. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who showed us to our table with a view of the restaurant. The place was cozy and charming, with wooden beams, checkered tablecloths, and vintage signs. It felt like we had stepped into a country home. We scanned the menu, which was full of tempting options. Fried chicken, chicken fried steak, meatloaf, pot roast, ham and beans, cornbread, biscuits and gravy… you name it, they had it. And everything was made from scratch, using fresh and local ingredients. We decided to go for the classics: chicken fried steak for Kimberly, and fried chicken platter for me. Both came with mashed potatoes, white gravy, and fried cinnamon apples. And of course, we couldn’t resist ordering an apple dumpling with cinnamon ice cream for dessert. The food arrived in no time, and it was glorious. The portions were huge, enough to feed an army. The chicken fried steak was a masterpiece, a thick and juicy cut of beef, coated with a crispy and golden batter, and smothered with a creamy and savory gravy. Kimberly said it melted in her mouth like butter. The fried chicken was equally impressive, a half a bird cut into pieces, seasoned with herbs and spices, and fried to perfection. It was crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The mashed potatoes were smooth and rich, the perfect accompaniment to the meat. The apples were sweet and tangy, adding a touch of freshness to the dish. It was comfort food in its most elevated form. We devoured our plates with gusto, savoring every bite. We barely had room for dessert, but we couldn’t say no to the apple dumplings with cinnamon ice cream. It was worth it. The dumpling was homemade, with a flaky crust and wrapped around a honey crisp apple with a dollop of cinnamon ice cream. It was warm and delicious, especially with a scoop of ice cream on the side. It was the perfect way to end our meal. We left the Farmhouse Restaurant feeling full and happy. We had just experienced one of the best meals of our lives, in one of the most charming places we’ve ever been to. The food was amazing, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. We couldn’t ask for more. If you’re ever in Branson, Missouri, do yourself a favor and visit the Farmhouse Restaurant. You’ll be glad you did. Trust me on this one. This place is a must-try for anyone who loves Southern food or just good food in general. You won’t regret it. Wonderful little place! A minor wait for a table, even on a Tuesday morning, but service was prompt and friendly - thank you Sarah! Food was delicious, coffee was hot. Biscuits had a dryness that were perfect for how runny the gravy was. Sausage had a bit of spice to it. French toast was Hawaiian bread but still needed syrup. Will definitely return.
