Ernesto's Restaurant in Genoa is a classic Mexican restaurant that has been around for decades. They are potent and delicious, and will definitely give you a good buzz. The Macho Nachos and Run Them Through The Garden are also really tasty, and you get lots of cheese. The chips are made in house and complimentary, and the jalapeno salsa is also great. The food can be inconsistent, and is more of an Americanized version of Mexican food, but some dishes like the chicken nachos, chicken crispitos, shredded beef burrito con queso, and egg and chorizo burrito con queso are really good. However, there are some items on the menu that should be avoided, like the tamales which are dried out and smell like dog food, and the rice which is often undercooked. The service can also be slow, and the wait staff isn't always the cleanest or most professional. All in all, Ernesto's Restaurant is a decent spot for a cheap night out with friends, but keep in mind that the food quality can be hit or miss.
