Great place to take kids!! Free unlimited chips and salsa (always a hit for kids!) $7 kids menu that comes with rice and beans and the main entree. I LOVE the mole enchiladas ! Service is great - warm, inviting and fast! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I think the key note here is they make their own tortilla chips and own hard taco shells (no old El Paso here) if you translate that to everything else they do it's a home run. Food: 5

I've been eating here since '03, and the food & drink never disappoint. Start with the awesome chips and salsa as the green and red are perfect. I personally go for the enchilada combo and have tried others, and the results are the same. We are quite regular here, this last time we found new server and person just visiting tables every 10 mins asking if we are done, can I take plate? The food here is good......fantastic quality....chicken is real chicken not something you can't define but taste and presentation is different from what I know. The chicken Quesadilla had no cheese and all...only tortilla and chicken. My second order chicken breast pieces over rice. When received i couldn't eat it. If I have to choose a favorite restaurant in the area, it is this one hands down. The food is amazing and it's difficult to choose a favorite dish (so try a combination plate!). Everything is very cheesy, so hopefully you love cheese like I do. The refried beans are fantastic to go along side any meal. This is the best horchata around (plus free refills on it!). Even better than the food here is the service. This family will make you feel right at home and really take care of you while you visit. Joyful personalities all around and very attentive to their customers. I will visit the area just for this restaurant. Amazing local Mexican restaurant here in downtown Redmond. Seems to be family owned which I love supporting and the food was great. Their chimichangas went crazyyyyyy.... What a surprise! Staff is extremely nice. The building is nothing special. However, the food was excellent. We observed people's dishes while walking to our table. They looked HUGE! So we decided to split the nacho. Great choice. It was more than enough! The bottom chips got a little soft but they give you free chips and salsa. So I used those chips for our bottom nachos. What a great place and unlikely find! We will be back everytime we are in Redmond! My family has been coming here for years. I no longer live in Washington state, but I still make a trip to El Toreador whenever I am in town for a visit. Their food is great and the chips and salsa is amazing. They have two different homemade salsas that are the best I’ve ever had from any Mexican restaurant. I actually ordered a large amount to serve at my 30th birthday party. Thank you for the amazing food and service! I will continue coming here as long as you stay open, no matter where I live in the country!
