I told the waitress I wasn't feeling well and I needed to leave she charged me an extra $1.50 for the plate to go and then she charged me $1.50 for the cup to go over my tea. Why pay that much money for a plate I already bought?? I should have just ordered to go!!! The waitress never even checked to see if I needed anything??? Wow not the same El Tapatio like before . I had the El Tampiqueño and it was great, the steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was good, The enchilada rice and beans were all good as well and paired well with the steak. I loved the flavor of the salsa and small side of beans that came with the chips. The waitress was friendly and our food came out fast. The restaurant was clean and very nice. Everything was delicious. The menu is large, so it took some time to decide. I settled on #11 -- Carne guisada and cheese enchiladas. My brother ordered the beef enchiladas with Verde sauce. Decent Tex-Mex breakfast. I ordered the machacado plate. Everything was good. Only complaint would be the amount and size of the machacado. Almost couldn’t tell it was in the eggs. Service was good. Came here to check it out cuz we haven't eaten here. Very beautiful art to look at and a very comfortable setting. The food was awesome and not a long wait. This place is the Best Mexican Food in Kingsville Texas. I love the Daily Margarita Special with my Meal. They have the most Taco meat options, in the area.
