When we were pulling up to El Rinconcito Feliz, I said, “I like the name- I hope this place lives up to it!” You guys. It really, really did. Good food, friendly folks. They were kind enough to make my picky kiddo a bean & cheese taco, which he ate with gusto, along with some chicken from his dad’s machete. (The machete got high marks from dad and sis as well.) We also got the elotes (very good,) the nachos (basic chips and queso but very satisfying) and a very generously proportioned fruit cup (also very good.). If we ever find ourselves in Rockdale again we will have to stop in! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Their tacos are out of this world!!! So loaded with goodness that I end up eating part of it with a fork. Corn cups are the best I’ve had since living in the Rio Grande Valley.
