A gem! Efficient, friendly, professional staff. Great low-key atmosphere, clean. Their standard Margarita was nothing out of the ordinary, but still quite good and fun to drink. They were a little busy on a late Sunday afternoon, but food came quickly and hot. The food itself... Just wonderful. Normal (light spice ), hot salsa and bean dip served with good tostitos. One of our party chose a gluten free dinner, of which there were several options. Chimichangas were large and tasty. I had the Toritos "appetizer" as a dinner, 6 chili stuffed with shrimp and wrapped in bacon, plus rice, beans, etc, also very good and lots of flavor. I'd be back, except we live a couple thousand miles away. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Best place to eat in Wickenburg. I am a local and we have come here more than twice a week for 8 yrs. Every waiter and waitress is very kind, and all of them know our order since they never really change. The owners are very nice people, and there's never been an "off" day with them. Great people, great food, and stop by and give it a try. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was good, but it could have been spicier. The service was great! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nice looking place. This is genuinely the worst meal I've paid for in years. I have to assume that the regular cook wasn't working, I'm almost positive when cooking our food they didn't use any seasoning, including salt. I ordered a plate of fajitas and it looked terrible and tasted worse. Just strips of unseasoned beef that were steamed together with peppers and onions. It was tough as heck, I thought maybe I got sick and couldn't taste so I had others try it. Also, this is the first time I've ordered fajitas and not given a plate to eat off of, she put a scalding hot iron in front of me while wearing gloves, because it's that hot, and when I asked for a plate she looked at me like I was an alien. It’s a little bit country. It’s a little bit rock ‘n’ roll. Now leave out the rock ‘n’ roll and you have the El Ranchero. waitress was super sweet…atmosphere pretty much what you’d expect in a small town eatery… including the cracked vinyl booth seat that your butt never fails to land on. Food was very tasty with the exception of my shrimp needed to be cooked just a hair longer but otherwise very very good! so head on over to El Ranchero and fill your belly with some steamin’ good food! Very unassuming from outside, but inside is a hidden gem! The food is all fresh and house made. Nothing canned or processed. The food is amazing by any standards, and there are many gluten free options as well! The portions were huge and the service was too notch. If you’re passing through Wickenburg and want something other than the fast food off the 85, this place is a must Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I got there at 11AM when they open, and was hoping for an omelet but, no they didn’t, no eggs on menu. Coffee was so-so, fresh out of coffee creamer but the did have milk. I ordered the Chile relleno which was shaped like a square. It was smothered in red sauce ( I prefer green) but the waiter did not give me a choice. I bit into it and thought what is this chewy stuff in the middle? Well, come to find out that is Mexican cheese! Yuk! It had the texture of a firm tofu and did not even come close to tasting like cheese! I have traveled extensively throughout Mexico (not just the touristy area) and have never had a chile relleno this bad. The server took it away as even my husband did not like it. I suggest you change your recipe. The service was good. We were comped for the meal. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30
We went here on the recommendation of a local. They said they didn't go out much but when they did this was one of their go to spots. We ordered the toritos which were highly recommended deep fried cukes stuffed with shrimp and wrapped with bacon. We also ordered a pork Chile some and a cheese enchilada. It all started out good with great salsa including a hot and mild version and bean dip. They were all good. The toritos were disappointing. I think the problem was they left the pepper seeds in. My wife thought the sope was excellent. I thought the pork Chile could have been better. It was tender and had a good flavor but it was red sauce based instead of green. The cheese enchilada was pretty good but there's a flavor embedded in the enchilada sauce I can't put my finger on. It wasn't bad but I've had much better. Service was good and although they were fairly busy they teamed up to insure we were taken well care of. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
First time at this beautiful restaurant that is located in a very small but booming town. My waitress was the awesome and cool Natalia and the servers name was Mikael who made the who experience so amazing and superb!!!. Got a history lesson as well...and the food was sooo freaking delicious...will definitely return in the near future...oh and the ambience was so relaxing and clean..you can smell the food from your car. Spectacular place..if you decide to come to wikenburg make a stop at this place!!!!

Good service, authentic Mexican food! Parking is limited. My daughter thought the chips tasted stale. The ground beef in tacos had too much oil in it. Quesadilla were the best! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
