I had an incredible dining experience at this Mexican restaurant. The two fish tacos and shrimp taco I ordered were absolutely amazing, bursting with flavor. The standout, however, was the exceptional service. The waitress was incredibly friendly, offering valuable advice on the menu. Notably, she consistently ensured our chips and drinks were topped off, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and top-notch service. Cozy little family restaurant with some deceptively unique and authentic flavors on the menu Appetizers: default salsa was good. Nothing special. The cabbage salsa was different and tasty. The by request only habanero-garlic salsa is AMAZING! Adobada taco was subtle and sweet. Lengua taco flavorful and robust like gyro meat Pastor taco doesn't stand as well on its own, but the salsa Verde it comes with quickly fixes that Pork Tamale was good but not exceptional Reffritos were normal. Rice was a bit salty but fine. Restaurant was clean. Neighborhood around it feels a bit out of place and kinda empty But just for the tacos and habanero garlic salsa alone I will return for sure. This is probably our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the Carson Valley! The front end is run by Carla who provides exemplary service!! The Margaritas are the best here and the fresh made tortilla chips are best we have ever had! They are so good I didn't want to use much salsa with them. All the reviews raved about how delicious the food is and they are are right! I had chicken enchiladas with green sauce, delicious! Outdoor seating also. Highly recommended! Have gone back many times and everything is great here! Carla is friendliness and efficiency personified. It is also nice not having to wait for a table.
