Excellent water view, might need to wait 5-10 minutes on weekend lunch to get seated. Great menu for lunch and dinner and friendly stuff. Highly recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–30
Very nice place near the river Maas. Big terrace overlooking the river is perfect spot during the warm months. Interior is also rather big and nicely designed. Service is good and very friendly and despite it was rather crowded during the lunch hours, the keep on the smiling/happy faces. Food selection is good with a lot of varieties. Something for everyone. All in all a place for good quick lunch, decent brunch or fancy dinner. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

BLUF: Go out of your way to eat here with your partner for an intimate meal. Driving through Europe from the UK, I will be back again! Places like this is why I continue to fall in love with the Netherlands. This restaurant is cozily nestled on a lush green river embankment overlooking the water dividing Netherlands and Belgium. I definitely recommend outside dining to admire the view while enjoying the fresh food. I chose the 3 course meal was and amazed with the beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients, aroma and flavor. Course 1, smoked trout and scampi salad. Course 2, baked fish fillet. Course 3, Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–40
Had a 3-course dinner a la carte. Most meals were a bit hefty on the salt, but mostly ok. Location was beautiful with a view of the river. Was also loaded with customers which really set the atmosphere. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–40
Great view, excellent food and attentive staff. Highly recommend. Can be quite busy, so you might have to que to get a seat by the river.
Eijsden is a cute little village, and this cafe is one of its highlights. On a bright sunny day it feels like total freedom at the very end of the country. And that's exactly where you are. Amazing view on the Maas river from their huge terrace, right on the border of The Netherlands and Belgium. Watching the sun set behind the hills on the other side is a treat in and of itself. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person €1–10
Beautiful view and a nice place for a short breakaway. We tried their oven baked scampi. Is lekker👍. For main we ordered a plate of pork tenderloin with pepper sauce. Pork is tender and juicy but the pepper sauce is too creamy. Can't really taste the pepper. Beef tenderloin is lekkar. Goes well with the mushroom sauce. Dessert COUPE AON 'T BAT so so only. Nothing special.
Had higher expectations! Went there after coming across the amazing reviews on Google, but unfortunately, didn't quite feel the magic. The restaurant is very well located, and undoubtedly has one of the finest views of the Maas. However, the food and service was nothing extraordinary. We asked for the Cod Ravioli, where we barely tasted any cod, and the "Catch of the Day", which surprisingly ended up as a salmon fillet - we were expecting something more local and fresh instead. An average beer menu, nothing special there, although it was good to see Curtius on the list!
