They're trying to charge high prices, but haven't built out an experience that justifies it.
I wanted to host a small group for birthday appetizers and drinks. A private event carries a $5,000 fee, and even a non-private event where you grab a space while they're still open requires a $1,000 facility fee. This is above and beyond the required 22% gratuity on all food & beverage.
For a small birthday celebration, the fees were going to be more than the food & beverage. It just doesn't make sense and is very inaccessible to the community they're trying to be a part of.
Regarding the experience, I find the bright lights, lack of heaters outside, and general design to feel a little too corporate.

Y'all locals and visitors need to stop by for a legitimate "big city" experience with a small-town feel. Great space. Awesome craft cocktails, and friendly staff. Say hi to "Space Kitten", Diego and Tori, among others. Also a great wine list. Oh, and the chocolate cake literally takes the cake.

Place is amazing. Service, appetizers, and drinks were great. Prices are a little higher compared to other bars in the immediate area, but the experience makes it worth it.

Incredible!! The staff, atmosphere, food, and beverages all beyond expectations. The chocolate cake is to die for! Beautiful views of the city and a nice place for date night or a hanging with a group. Highly recommend.

Another capital experience for us. I was kindly greeted by Mia and Madison at Marguerite and let them know friends from IL were joining us at Eave (Hotel Verdant Rooftop) for drinks & dessert. It was chilly tonight, but both Mia & Vlad made sure we had blankets. We moved inside when it started to sprinkle. Diego took great care of us. He was so personable. The chocolate cake was rich & decadent. As a person who doesn't post reviews, I can't say enough about the team at Marguerite, Eave & Hotel Verdant. Thank you for making our spontaneous visit feel planned & welcomed.

This spot is beyond lovely….every detail is perfect! The cocktail, beer and wine list is elevated and you get the best view of Lake Michigan! I didn’t order it but I did see an enormous piece of chocolate cake delivered to a table nearby….next time❤️

Finally! Racine has something GREAT! The rooftop bar (and the restaurant below) were beyond our expectations!! Let's turn this city around! This place is gorgeous. Delicious drinks, great hospitality, good food. Thank you to EVERYONE who is working so hard to create this upscale dining/drinking experience. We appreciate it!!!

What an incredible addition to downtown Racine! The rooftop is stunning, with beautiful views and an upscale, relaxing atmosphere. Looking forward to many more visits, and many more delicious cocktails. :)
