This was one of the most amazing dinners I have had in awhile. Calli was THE BEST server I have had in… well forever. She loves what she does and is such a hard working girl. She gave me real opinions on entrees and was able to talk to me about the menu. Not only was she the best waitress I have had, she also is a killer bartender. She made some amazing drinks. I could go on forever talking about her. She really loves what she does and she puts her whole heart into it and it made our night one of the best we have ever had! She was easy to talk to and fun with her quick comments that made us feel like we were her best friend. I cannot wait to see her again and honestly this girl deserves so much recognition. Not only will I be leaving this review but I will also being calling to talk to her manager to let them know how amazing she is. As a 20 something, that is something I don’t EVER do but she really made a memorable night out with my partner. If it is possible, I would recommend you sit in her section. First time at Dunstan Tap and it was a great experience. The pretzel appetizer was huge and tasty and the cheese and mustard were equally as tasty. I had the fish and chips was a large serving and well prepared. My wife had one of the pizzas and I was disappointed I didn’t go that direction after seeing and tasting hers. I have eaten here several times. I love the food and the service is great. The place is aestetically pleasing to the eye. However, it is very loud and hard to hear the staff especially in the new back room. High ceilings and steel tables and chairs only serve to reverberate the sound of the constant hooting and hollering of adults and children playing in the game area which is wide open to the rest of the room. There is also music playing. This makes for a very unpleasant dining experience. They should glass the game area in to reduce the noise and add sound absorbing materials to the ceiling area. I felt terrible for a nearby older gentleman who had to lean in and direct both ears to the waitress who was leaning down to talk to him as he sat in one of the farthest tables from the game area. I'm surprised the staff sat him in that room. I had a very difficult time hearing the waitress and I'm half his age. We got there at 5pm (which was not packed yet) and they were there well before us. First time in for dinner. My wife and I each thoroughly enjoyed our meals. She got the Farro Salad and I got a bowl of Clam Chowder and the Fish and Chips. Awesome!! Service from Kaylie was spot on.
