Was looking for a great burger, and was really looking forward to try this place after reading the ratings and reviews. Very disappointed. Ordered a Dry 85 burger medium well and paid extra $4 for fries. Burger was completely pink. Sent it back, and received a new burger with the same fries from the original order, yes the fries were cold. Burger flavor was surprisingly bland considering the bacon, pulled pork and slaw. Got a hit of the bourbon from the bbq sauce on the first few bites, but after that, nothing. Didn't get refills on our drinks until our glasses were empty and our meal was finished. This place has good food and drinks, but it is not worth the cost. My friends and I ordered a $15 plate of fried pickles that the waiter recommended for the table. Upon receiving the plate, we were shocked. There were 7 half inch slices of pickles on the plate. This could not even feed a rabbit. I recommend that if you want to eat out for a reasonably priced plate of food, this might not be the place for you. I’ve lived in Annapolis for 3 years and this is the first time I’ve been to Dry 85. Because we were there for lunch with friends and wanted to talk, I left a slightly lower rating for atmosphere - it got a bit noisy. If I were there for a good time with friends, the atmosphere rating would be higher because it seems like a fun place with good cocktails (and mocktails). What a delight! Our server was super knowledgeable - about everything really - but especially about the bourbons, ryes, and whiskeys they offer at Dry 85. When I asked for a smoky bourbon cocktail, he brought me a beautiful glass covered with the smoking remains of fruit wood chips still on top, so I could remove the cover and take my first scented sip of heaven! The food was delicious - I had the chipotle pork sandwich on waffles instead of a bun and it was sublime. Highly recommend! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

Great place. Bar service was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We had great bourbon cocktails; Lavender fields over Kentucky. Really delicious burger; blue cheese and fig jam. Generous portion of truffle fries. Try the fried pickles too! They have some great beers on tap as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
