My mom friends and I had a wonderful experience at District Pour House! A couple of us traveled from across the country to visit our friend and her new baby and wanted to enjoy dinner and a drink. We were talking about how we've all had experiences of judgement or heard comments about how babies and young kids shouldn't be allowed in public places like planes, breweries and restaurants because it annoys everyone else. The bartender and several of the staff disproved this by making us all feel welcomed and being fun and playful with our kids. It's wonderful when people value kids and see them as whole people that deserve to allowed in public spaces and not just annoying little critters that shouldn't leave their homes. Thank you for the delicious meals, satisfying beer, and warm and friendly energy! We'll be back!

Food was fantastic, but the service was very untimely and slow. Even though they were busy on Saturday night, our party of 6 was there for 2 hours once we were seated. Sever would leave and not come back. We ordered appetizers and the mussels and soups (tomato bisque and gumbo) were excellent!
We were finished with the apps and a long time went by before server came back for our order, like 20-30 minutes long. Once she came back to take our entree orders, one of our guests had a question about what is the vegetable toss and the server response was I serve hundreds of them, but I do not know. OK, so she leaves and 20 minutes go by. I finally got the attention of the hostess and told her if we don't see our server to get out order in we will have to leave. A few minutes later the server shows up.
All food was prepared timely and was delicious. The kitchen is the strongest asset to this location. Also, the cake desserts were great as well. Lemon with raspberry sauce, carrot cake and chocolate cake. All of them were great. The pork chops were fabulous.
They may have been short handed, or just a poor service person, I wouldn't know. I would go back for the food, but not on a Saturday night as they can't handle the business server wise.

First time visiting but I was very impressed. The staff is very friendly. The drinks are hand crafted and you have the option to add their special infused alcohols added. I had the Sedona Salad, which was fresh and flavorful. The menu is limited to brunch and lunch (at least on Sundays) but ultimately it's a great addition to downtown Shawnee. Highly recommend.

Risotto balls were perfectly cooked. Sandwiches were all perfectly portioned, bread was toasted just enough to be toast without any rough edges. The attention to detail in food preparation here is excellent.
Staff is very friendly and prompt. Will not hesitate to return.
