My family attended a fantastic class at Dharma Bums where Fiona taught us how to make ceramic garden markers. She was so kind, welcoming and patient. This class was an amazing value. For $50, we got to make 8 garden markers and it included a drink (alcoholic or not). We also ordered food and additional drinks to enjoy during our class. The sweet n sour quinoa salad, Thai street fries and soft pretzels were delicious. The Asian mule and the Elderberry Yuzu mojito were creative and refreshing. The food is all vegetarian. The menu was clearly labeled for allergens and they have several gluten free and vegan options. I would highly recommend this fun, family run business for food and a creative class! Delicious food ,incredible live music, the coolest staff ever and the most chill, welcoming vibe… I have also become addicted to any event that they host(wreaths/clay classes/ sewing)it is so fun hanging with such diverse, interesting, lovely and kind humans. This is my community and it is so refreshing and needed! I can not say enough about this place. So blessed to live here and have this in my hood. We live about a mile up River Rd and we ❤️ Dharma Bums, as vegetarians we feel so lucky to have this fun place close. When we moved into our insanly-beyond-fixer-upper house a few months ago the first food we ate in it was DB takeout so it will always be special to us. The only reason my review is 4/5 is while there is a kids menu, there aren’t high chairs available. We have an 18 mo old, who is very easy to eat out with and we wouldn’t bring her out if she was cranky or crying. But it’s not possible (for us) to eat when she’s in one of our laps, she just wants to run around where as if she has her own chair we can all enjoy dinner. They make attractive, simple wood high chairs and it would be so awesome if that was an option. Edit - wow! Amazing! Last time we asked there weren’t high chairs. Maybe you didn’t get them yet or the server wasn’t aware. Thanks! ♥️♥️♥️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Cool place with music.Giving one star because of the manager. He yells at his staff even in front of customers! He will ruin this new restaurant/bar! The owner seemed very nice, not sure why he would tolerate such a rude and obnoxious manager?! I also ordered food without onions due to an allergy and it came with onions! Bartender and waitress friendly and nice. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
We had an excellent time. Good food, drinks, music. And everyone was friendly!
