Homey restaurant converted from an old train station, the seared tuna was great and the fried oysters were good even though the batter to oyster ratio was a bit higher than I would have preferred. Took my favorite cousin and friend out to dinner for Valentines Day. Food we ordered was delicious and filling. Our only complaint was they do not have crab cakes on there menu any longer, and they don't serve bread with meals. For three of us, I paid $118, not including the tip. I felt it was a little expensive not to included bread with meals. Food was great! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I feel like my review speaks for itself. So good. The only downfall is that all your party has to be present before they will say you even if it is only 2 of you and you want to order appetizers while you wait. Otherwise all good stuff. Been here a few times. The atmosphere is historical, clean, and acceptable. The service is excellent, fast, and honorable. But the food… the food is “USUALLY” really good; but my most recent trip here wasnt so great. The chicken was dry, the waffle fried were hard, and overall the food was just ok. Maybe the chef was having a bad day or maybe I showed up too late near closing… But I was slightly disappointed recently because I know how good the food usually is here. The location was pretty neat right by an active train track. Downfall to that is that it's an active train track so that means loud sounds. Other than that seating kinda made you feel you were in a box car eating. Don't know why they had quilts and blankets hanging from ceiling. I ordered the catfish with broccoli and a baked potato. Catfish was very good, nice and crunchy batter with some good seasoning. Now the broccoli was a bush for sure and no seasoning whats so ever. Joked with waitress about it and she commented that they do not season their vegetables at all due to older patrons that eat there. My girlfriend had some green beans and they tasted like they came right of the ground. We did get side salads and the freshness of those were to die for. Mother of god! I am visiting some friends and they told me about a sandwich that comes from hell and is a waffle-fried chicken combo. My friend Matthew is a complete savage and he added Syrup and tobasco to the mix. We also had the buffalo wings and the spicy shrimps. Everything was 👍! Our server was a gal from LA, a great professional and a really sweet person. The place is really pretty with a beautiful terrace looking over the railway. Great selection of beers as well!
