Having eaten world best quality tonkatsu in Japan, Korea, i think this is not authentic. Pork meat is super dry, not juicy at all. Frying oil looks bad. I’ve never seen frying batter is so dark. Not worth taking picture of Tonkatsu. Look at other pictures taken. Don’t be fooled by favorable reviews!

I can't stop thinking about this place! The curry is delicious, the Katzu is always perfectly crispy and they separate it from the Curry so it doesn't get soggy. The Curry Udon is a bit expensive, but worth every penny. If you like Katzu, Japanese Curry or just want to try something new, this is definitely on the top of my recommendations list. Third strike for Demiya Dublin. I really tried to give them a chance. First problem I had was very gristly meat. Second problem I had was slightly undercooked chicken. Third problem I had was I ordered a single takeout chicky curry rice. Of course they tie the bag up so you can't see what's inside. Get it home and there's no curry sauce, just dry chicken and rice. This is the kind of quality and service you get even with a tip. Great concept, but after 3 problems in 3 trips I'm done. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

My mom, dad and brother have been raving about this place for months and I finally got to try it out. The bar was high and I think it met it. Its a small restaurant behind Los Pericos (we had trouble finding it at first). But I guess no one else had that problem because it was pretty busy when we got there (it was 1pm on a tuesday). We didn't have trouble finding a seat nor did we wait long for our food. And about the food, if you don't eat too much, then you should probably share an entree because the portions were huge. Neither of us (2 smaller girls) finished even half of our curries - even though we wanted to because it was delicious. I'd also suggest getting one of the veggie add-ons because otherwise it's just meat, curry and rice. Overall, it was good food and a good experience. There's no name on the building so you would never know by looking at it, but this is like a secret spot for great Japanese style curry. The beer selection is unexpected - there are multiple Japanese beers I've never seen anywhere else. Will definitely be returning.
