What is this bland burnt starch?? It surely is not fish and chips. Told us there was no space for 7 people but in the end the whole restaurant was empty and led us to an empty table they claimed was not available. Extremely arrogant waiters, especially the blonde girl. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very nice location with view on the water and cute small green houses. Food was really delicious, Fish and chips in particular. Wow. What a rude and unprofessional service. Mark this day October 29 and send home whoever was at the reception. First we waited a long time just to be seated when no one was in the line. Second we witnessed how she refused to warm a sandwich to one of the customers only because... Third, we stopped only for drinks and Apple cake, asking that it will be warm in an oven. Not Micro. We got a soggy cake. Horrible how they ruined it by overheating in the micro. When we asked why, our server told that the gal at the reception, yes she again, who I am assuming the one in charge of the operation today, refused to allow warming it unless it it in the Micro. WTH is wrong with this so beautiful venue? Yes, this could have been a good cake but it was not eatable. Skip this place. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Sorry – although a very beautiful romantic restaurant the service is awful ! Waiters are slow and were not willing to serve. Very surprising for a Dutch restaurant. The food we ordered was good I must say, but the waiters were cot communicative, We were 4 people one vegetarian – we booked in advance ! After we saw the menu we decided to order just 3 dished to see and decide later – the waiter had to check if we can order. It took him 10 minutes to check. After we received the food and wanted to ordered more – he told us it was not possible. This is the first time something like that ever happened to me – The waiters actually ruined the dinner we planed. This place would be perfect, if it wasn't for the 2, blonde, female "waitresses". The young one has a an awful attitude, whilst the older one is just not even bothered about the fact that the clients create her job. Aside from them, the place is lovely, has a delightful view, you really feel as if you are in Amsterdam. Well worth a stop. *no almond milk. A nice hidden restaurant we came across when walking around and kind of looking somewhere to eat at the same time as we were feeling hungry after we had enough of seeing the windmills. The food was good, a little pricey. Friendly staff members and a great view and atmosphere. I had mustard soup which was quite nice and creamy. Comes with some bread and butter. I have never had mustard soup before so wanted to try it for the first time. I liked it although I wouldn't probably add spring onions to garnish. I do usually like spring onions but didn't really think it goes with mustard soup as I found it a bit overpowering for me. Otherwise perfect. My husband had the club sandwich thing which was massive. I loved this restaurant, because it’s visually pleasing, it has a great feel being on the water and set in a cute ‘courtyard’. The food is great. I enjoyed my falafel wrap. (The burger, according to my boyfriend, could, however, be better). The only con and something management severely need to work on, is the BAD SERVICE and salty attitudes!! The first thing we got as we sat down was a snarky young blonde girl throwing me all kinds of attitude for who knows what reason after I mentioned to her we were waiting for our table to be cleared from the previous guests. I have not experienced such attitude since probably primary school! It was then followed by another blonde women, a little older, who appeared to be bored out of her mind having to help us and really, had both these women cracked a smile or had a better attitude, it would make the whole experience, truly one not to be missed. But until they get a proper attitude adjustment or management simply find staff better equipped to handle customers, I can’t give it a 5-star rating.
