We enjoyed our lunch stop in Putten by the restaurant/bar de Hertogh. Food was of good quality and quantity. Service friendly and fast. Believe that quality and price was 👌. One star less for atmosphere because it was very dark inside, but of course that can be also me. Hope that many foreign customers will arrive but than have menu list in more than Dutch language. They forgot how to "service" after Covid!! -Waiting for the waitress see you finally to guide you to a table. -Begging to make an eye contact so that you can order something. -Taking orders wrong "although" having taken "notes" -Only one amateur beginner working as a waitress who doesn't even understand what you say. -Lowering the quantity and quality of the food. Hertog, as a frequent visitor, we are definitely not visiting you again. You have to understand that "service" is the thing that brings you customers. We had an unbelievably terrible experience. Hope you learn from this feedback something and improve, Not to lose more customers!

When all tables are taken the place is understaffed. The place used to be a great hang, but the revamp has left it lost without an identity. However, when not too busy, the staff is prompt, kind and proffessional.

Nice place, empty terrace, must sit inside. Food was fast and good.. after 70min paid and gone..woow no long dinner night.

Very nice place; cosy, industrial, young, vibrant interior. Staff is super friendly, food is even better. Our dishes had each a nice original touch. The vegetarian strudel is something we don't find in belgium and was perfect, sorry no picture (we were to amased!) . The mixed grill was perfectly grilled meat (juicy and tasty). The dessert, we shared one, chocolate souffle is a perfect finsih for a superb evening. Thanks a lot and see you soon!

Good beer selection and the finger-food is very good and not too expensive. If you want to just get some coffee it's okay. There also is a smoking area that's heated if it's cold outside, they only don't take orders here because of local laws.
