Dad’s Dogs in Florence, OR is the bomb! Waited to post this until I tried a few things. Got my husband the Chicago dog for lunch yesterday, I had a smash burger. Well the hubby was born and raised in Chicago, and said this was the closest he’s found to a Chicago dog in the PNW. The smash burger was good. Tonight he wanted another Chicago dog for dinner. I ordered two fish tacos. One taco would have been enough, but after eating it I couldn’t help but eat the second! Soooo good! This will definitely be a weekly stop for us. Highly recommended. Owner was a jerk. Food smelled good but I prefer service. He needs to learn how he should treats others. Other times I’ve been here was not bad. Totally turned off by the place now. The gourmet burgers are big, thick, and flavorful. The burgers are a bit greasy or it's buttery. The Mushroom Bacon Onion Swiss Burger is one of the best I've found in OR. The fry sauce is a fry sauce of perfection. The crack sauce is amazing for dipping your chicken in, another favorite dipping sauce I've found. The smash burgers are awesome! Wifey had the BBQ burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. The crinkle Fry's are so simple and good. The popcorn chicken is pretty darn good, the sauce helps elevate the flavor. Dad's is my favorite place for burgers in OR. I hunt for great food, and this location is beyond worth the price especially for such flavorful quality!!
