My mom and I stopped here for breakfast about two weeks ago. I ordered pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were buttery and thin, just the way I like them. My mom ordered Grandma’s sampler, I believe it was called and she enjoyed it. The syrup served in the mini glasses are literally the stars of the show. Takia was an awesome waitress, she was attentive and quick to grab any extras we were asking for. My mom’s meal was missing a sausage patty and she quickly rectified the situation. I ordered the trio dinner which was sirloin tips, grilled chicken strips and fried shrimp. The tips and chicken were good but the shrimp came out cold like it had been in the refrigerator over night. My side and mashed potatoes were good also the corn bread muffins. Service was kind of slow. Dear Cracker Barrel, today you get 1 STAR. I had the grandkids over and they wanted pancakes so I placed my order, picked it up…got home and guess what? You did not give me any syrup. I had 5 orders of pancakes and not one bottle of syrup. It’s clearly marked on the receipt to include syrup in the order. Can you imagine the task of trying to get kids do to eat pancakes with no syrup? On the receipt it says that my order was quality checked by A&A….well guess what….your quality check system failed today. Disappointed 😫. Fast forward to March 1, 2024… I decided to give you another chance, Cracker Barrel. You failed me again. You get 0 stars today. I placed my order online and my husband went out in the rain to pick it up. You left two items out of my order. I checked my receipt and guess what, It was quality checked by two people. The initials are G and K…well guess what G and K you messed up! I called the store to let you know that I was missing two items and guess what, I was placed on hold and no one came back to assist me. The food was very late then the server dropped our tray which took an incredibly long time to prepare. When we did get our food the mashed potatoes were like cement. We could actually pick it up like a biscuit. We sent it back and was brought more of the same. Our ticket had 3 extra meals on it. It had to be corrected. We did get an apology from the Mgr for the dropped tray but no discount was offered. We were there approximately 2.5 hours!
