Enjoyed Momma's breakfast, with one exception. One small bottle of CB Pure Maple Syrup is not enough for 3 pancakes. When i requested extra syrup, it was brought to the table in the small black plastic containers that usually holds salad dressing or something similar. I thought it was odd, but decided to pour it over my pancakes - yuckh! It was terrible. It was extremely watery and tasted like artificial sweetener. Because i hadn't finished my eggs and sausage, i decided not to finish the pancakes. I sincerely hope CB isn't offering cheap syrup in place of their pure Maple syrup to cut cost. What a difference a restaurant makes! I went to a Cracker Barrel yesterday for lunch, and in one photo, you will see a picture of a very small tender that my server Elizabeth that piece counted as a whole tender. Now, in the other photo, you will what size tenders are served here at the St. Clairsville, OH store. Miranda C was my server and I would classify her as a Super Server. Food was great as always. The decor is very dusty, glass on pictures are dirty with splashed drink drops and smears. Windows are dirty and outside landscaping could be freshened up. Food and service was good but . . . the front windows of the restaurant were disgustingly dirty with hand prints. The glass in pictures on the walls looked like they hadn't been wiped down for months. If that is a fact - what does the kitchen look like? I'm not sure I really want to know.
