Very disappointed. I've been going here for many years. Client lunches and dinners. The food is good but the management obviously doesn't have a clue about how to treat customers. I brought a friend in for a nice birthday dinner - ordered an expensive bottle of wine to celebrate - was told by the server that it was a Weds special and 50% off. When the check came, I was only given 25% off. When I questioned it, I was told the manager could only do 40% at the most because that was his cost even though I had been told before ordering that it would be 50% off. I am business owner, and if one of my employees quoted a price to a customer - even if it was wrong - I would have honored it. I will never go back to this establishment nor would I recommend it to anyone. There are too many really great restaurants in the Des Moines Metro area who would welcome your business and not attempt to negotiate a bill with you. Bait & Switch.
