I ordered gluten free cookies for my wife's birthday. They were, hands down, the best cookies I have ever had. Sara had them ready and delivered to Alabama with the precision of a NASA project. I previously had patronized this business and received warm cookies! I was in the area for an errand and decided to treat myself to a Tcho chocolate cookie for $4.50! The male employee went to get the cookie from the back and the female employee asked where he got the cookie in hand. He said the warmer, she told him to get it from the "packed" up ones. What I received, was a cold cookie that seemed like it was unevenly baked on one side because it was baked too close to the baking tray wall and ended up lopsided. Thankfully it was tasty cookie once I stuck it into my air fryer to give myself the "fresh" cookie experience. I really should had insisted on the cookie in his hand! The warm one was soooooo close....I can't believe the owner of the store, Sara shorted me that experience for a full priced cookie. I generally want to patronize small businesses but next time I'll swing by Costco for $2.49 and grab a giant warm chocolate chip cookie after being shorted this experience. TLDR; Hit or miss whether you receive warm cookies and whether they'll be swapped in front of you even if warm ones are available.
