Don't come here near enough but I am never disappointed when I do. Food is so good. You ask for medium you get medium. Rolls are so good. If you leave here hungry there is something wrong. Food was really great especially the catfish nuggets, Waitress was okay sadly gotta act like you utterly about to yell at her to take your order. Atmosphere is great vibes though kind people when they see a waiter or waitress ignoring you they will ask if you want one of us to get her to take your order. Very good folks besides her you'll normally find that person by the bar. We have driven by this place for years and never tried, but on a whim of looking for somewhere new to go, this place came to mind and was not disappointed. Our steaks were cooked to our preference and the meal as a whole was good. Would recommend Colton’s over Texas Roadhouse in Edwardsville any day! We were at Colton’s tonight and had a wonderful experience. Our server Abby was just lovely. Friendly, patient, and fast which is exactly what you want when you are hungry. The cheese sticks are huge and really good. The ribeye is good, my fiancé said the sirloin and fried shrimp were excellent! For sides the mac n cheese is what you want, a delicious white cheddar creamy mac, made in house. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to mac and theirs is top notch. The baked potato came out well done which is exactly what I like! So overall, I definitely recommend coltons over other steak houses in their price point. One of my favorite stops. Been here many times and each time is a new experience. The bartender Is awesome but when busy takes on too much and gets no help from management. Clean and inviting. Restrooms are well kept as well along with the restaurants floors and kitchen. Service is prompt and fast. Great food proportions and prices to fit. My personal favorite steakhouse. Rolls and butter were great, sirloin was great, house salad with house dressing was great, and the smoked salmon dip was great. I also recommend the root beer too. Everyone in the St. Louis area needs to try this place. Better than Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn Steakhouse. My wife and I ordered takeout, which is probably the first time in my life I've done that for a steak. It was perfect! Called ahead to check availability of the smoked sirloin. They had four left and I scored one. It was top notch! Also, the rolls, oh the rolls. Excellent! The service was fast and efficient and both of our dinners were hot and delicious. Highly recommended! I can’t give this 4 stars, because the ribs were ok. Kinda dry, definitely not great, not sauced or seasoned like good ribs should be. The chicken and rice were better. Service was good, but I asked for lemon with my tea, didn’t get lemon. And no sugar or butter for my sweet potato, came with both. My wife ordered the sirloin tips and she really liked them, and the smashed potatoes. Overall a good experience. I enjoyed my meal at Colton’s. It’s equal to other chain steakhouses. They did a good job of medium rare on my sirloin. The salad, sweet potato, peanuts and bread were all good. Service was awesome. I do have one complaint though. It was quite dim. While I don’t want glaring lights, I do like enough light to read the menu.
