Excelente lugar para comprar.
Doesn’t seem to be any consistency between other city market locations and this one. Furthermore, every time I go to the deli, they’re always out of something. I haven’t been able to get potato wedges in months because they’re always out and they won’t make more for some reason. Also, I went there at 2p to get a nice hot meal for lunch and they didn’t have anything out! Their response was “in a half an hour we will put something out.” Now I understand that this is not a Walmart franchise, but they could definitely learn something from that store. Every time I go into a Walmart their deli food is always ready to go and stocked, and if it’s not, I can ask for it and they’ll make it for me. No city market deli in the entire state of Colorado has ever accommodated me in that way when I ask. They just say “we don’t have anymore.” There’s a reason why I try to stay away from city market if I can. But unfortunately, when I’m in Aspen/Glenn, I have no choice. Interesting local market monopoly going on there.
I shop this City Market when I am visiting in Basalt. It has all the same products of my "home" store in Grand Junction and, as always, the produce quality is very good. I haven't ever noticed a higher price difference either.

Some of the best deals around. Definitely one of my family's top 3 shopping destinations.
Encuentras de todo, pero su atención no es muy buena ni amable.

Normally the employees at City Market El Jebel are helpful. Over the years, I've developed an overall positive feeling about entering the store. Unfortunately, today, the rude and confrontational actions of a City Market employee at customer service named Yohana erased all of that. I had purchased an item a couple of days ago on sale: two for $3. When I got home, I noticed that I was charged the regular price of $5 each. I showed Yohana to receipt and the sale price. She confirmed the sale price, and then she said she did not know why I was charged the regular price. She said that maybe I had to do a digital scan. When I explained to her that no digital scan was required as shown at the point of sale, she then said she did not know why I was charged the different price. I asked for refund she said in her very limited English, "I no can do". I asked why. She said she didn't know why. I asked for a manager. She stood silent. I asked a second time. She stood silent almost implying that she didn't understand. I asked a third time, stating that I would go looking for a manager. Only then did she reluctantly process a refund. A horrible experience with a most ugly person during Christmas week!
Its a grocery store. You need groceries? Go to here. Boom.
Buenas opciones, precios elevados
Do not eat the prepackaged watermelon spears. It is laced with chemicals. It tasted like I was eating dish water. Probably stay away from most conveniently packed food. Like how you are suppose to wash new clothes BEFORE you wear them--however they process certain foods to be packaged is clearly tainting the food supply. Taste your food and ask yourself. Does this taste like what a natural product taste like. Or is there something off? Also I been ignored and profiled to many times to count. Staff are friendly, the closer you are to the exit.
