Place is a little small but their food makes up for it with big flavor. This has to be one of my top favorite Chinese restaurants. Reasonably priced for the portion size. Staff is always friendly. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Use to be very good. Now it's about the same as going to Walmart and reheating bags of frozen Great Value Chinese food from the freezer section. Nothing is made in house anymore and what is being used is clearly chosen based on what is the cheapest option to buy. Panda Express offers more authentic flavors and that is saying alot. The food is generally good - sometimes the rice is fresh, the beef can be a little chewy, the cream cheese wontons are very good. I recommend one of the lunch specials with garlic sauce. I've been going here for approximately a decade, and my co-workers and I greatly miss the buffet. They have assured me they have no plans to reinstate the buffet unfortunately, and this has drastically reduced the amount of times I eat here every year. The prices have also increased recently so the value is not what it once was. Overall this is a decent place to eat lunch in a town with very few options, but there is a lot of room for them to improve. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
They put hot food, directly into Styrofoam containers, and then serve them to you. This has been linked to cancer

Literally the BEST Chinese food I have found so far in Minnesota. I live in Waseca , so I don't get it very often but I use to like in Kasota and they delivered to me because it was near st Peter. AMAZING FOOD HANDS DOWN. The Wantons are just to die for. Dumplings and fried rice with pork 👌👌cant go wrong. Service Take out Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
New to town, ordered from China Town to give the small business a shot. Very disappointed with not only the service but also the quality of the food. I ordered delivery, gave them my address. Somehow they wrote the address down and received a call from the driver. She was yelling at me and accusing me of giving her the wrong address. The food was terrible, hardly any protein in any of the entrees we ordered. I even found a chunk of questionable raw meat in our lo mein. Please save your money and go elsewhere! Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
I honestly don't understand how people can rate this place anything less than 5 stars. I've been coming here for years and never had a issue. Sometimes there's a little bit of a language barrier but that's mostly due to my hard of hearing. The food is top notch, yes it can get to be expensive but that all depends on how you order. Their lunch specials are the go to spot for a deal but that has a time frame for lunch and lunch only. The serving sizes are enough to eat and still have some for the next day it's amazing! All around 5 stars! Greatest atmosphere to be in just to pick up food not sure if I'd suggest dine in unless it's just two of you.
Anyone know if they recently changed owners or cooks? The food was very disappointing. It did not taste fresh or homemade, basically reheated frozen food. It's a real shame because I used to like this place. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

After all the years, it's still a great place. We got egg rolls, chicken and noodles, beef broccoli and mushrooms, shrimp fried rice, and chicken vegetables. Everything tasted great. Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10

I know that right now there is pretty high inflation on food prices. I'm willing to shoulder the additional expense, but what I got for "House Special Lo Mein" was an absolute joke! For $10 dollars (with tax) I got a few bits of Bok Choi, maybe 4 tiny pieces of chicken (and by tiny I'm talking 1/2 inch long by about 1/8th of an inch wide) and a few shrimp. I found no pork at all, and, they apparently couldn't be bothered to add onions. Basically, 10 dollars for about 1 dollars worth of noodles, less than one ounce of protein and some soy sauce. I have been visiting them for over 10 years, and with this meal, I'm done. Dear Reader, I hope you will avoid this place, even if it's the only asian option.
