Haven't been back in a couple years. Waitress seemed like she was having a bad day. Not good customer service. Burger was not cooked the way I asked for. If not messy to eat it. Ribs were dry. BBQ sauce wouldn't have saved it anyway. About the only thing that was good was my drink . Table was clean. Atmosphere was inviting. Not a lot of people in there at lunch time. My husband and I dined here on January 19th. We liked it so much we came back again on the 20th. It's been a long time since we've been to a restaurant that there wasn't anything wrong with the food or appetizer or drinks. It is so nice and refreshing to order food, have it come the way you ordered it, have the service be great, and have everything taste wonderful! The burgers were juicy, the Chicken was juicy. Very flavorful , the chips and salsa you get at the beginning of the meal are homemade and taste wonderful! This is now our "go to" restaurant for everything! Ordered curbside to go on 1/9/24. I got margarita chicken, my husband got chicken bacon quesadillas, and our kids got a cheese pizza. Everything tasted and looked fine but my husband and I ended up with food poisoning from the chicken. Not sure if it was old, not cooked properly, or not stored properly but it was a horrible situation! We were so sick and unable to function, spent over $50 on food for it to make us horribly sick. Muskegon Chili's returns to good review. Stopped going because the place was always too cold in the winter. Ordered fajitas and quesadillas explosion salad. Both excellent. Signed up for their membership thing to get free chips and salsa - theirs is far better than most. Excellent service. Paying using their at-table device was frustrating and thus cut rating to four stars. Take out is super hit or miss. Even a hit for them still doesn't mean you will get your entire order or your ribs will be burnt and your burger is bleeding instead of cooked all the way through. Definitely check for your sauces, sides and soup before leaving. The staff despite their incompetence are very friendly and attentive. All take out fryer food is gross because they cook it first and then it sits around the longest. Probably just skip this place and spend your money elsewhere. Probably our worst experience at chili’s. Server seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. Took about 10 min to get our tea and root beer. Appetizers came very late then about 30 minutes after our appetizers came out we had a manager come out to our table with my daughters food which you can tell was sitting under the heat lamp for a while because even the fruit bowl was super hot. She let us know that our food got pushed back somehow and sorry for the long wait and that she was going to take care of everything for us. She never did and I’m not one to cause a scene and embarrass my self. So we paid our bill in full and boxed our food to go then left. Normally when someone admits they messed up and brings up to you that they will take care of things. You kind of expect them to do so. So huge lack of care or accountability. Server could definitely use some training. I’m disappointed in the whole visit from start to finish. I Would not recommend! Santa Fe grilled chicken salad and Mango iced tea. Salad was good, but too much dressing. Had a hint of spice, but not too spicy. Tea was on the sweet side, but good flavor. We went on a Saturday around 4pm. It took a little to be seated because no one was at the podium. We ultimately had to go up to a server to ask to be seated. Our server, Olivia, was the saving grace of the entire trip. They had to fix mine and my mom's salad three times each. Then because of having to fix the salads so many times they ended up coming after our main meal, the Cajun pasta, was brought. Then my mom's pasta compared to mine was completely different in amounts. Then when we got our bill, we were over charged. Again, or server was amazing through all of it. Honestly, normally when we go to this Chili's it is really good. When we talked to the manager he said they had just hired almost all new cooks and they were a little short staffed.
