We were visiting New Canaan from the UK with my in-laws who lived there 30 years ago. We found Chef Luis’ and am so glad we did. The service was fantastic from Chef Luis son, who even made my fiancé lemonade after the sprite syrup ran out. The food was so good, the best we had all week even in the city. We’ll certainly be back next time we’re in New York! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came around 330pm with our two young children. Welcomed us warmly without a reservation, great service, everything tasted great, fairly priced, even brought us a complimentary dessert because they were a little busy setting up for their reservations for the evening. 10/10 recommend. After being a patron of this restaurant from the beginning despite multiple groups of ownership and the menu pricing escalating. I have to say we had the worse meal ever. I couldn't even provide the specific details as there were so many. We love the atmosphere and the servers. The kitchen despite being terribly slow, the product of all three meals were awful. Simply not edible. Time to find another go to spot in our town. Thank you for responding to my review…it certainly shows you care about feedback…we will certainly try you, again..
