This was my first time at Cheba Hut, and it won't be my last. I got the Kali Mist, and it was perfect!! I definitely recommend coming here if you want a quality sandwich. Amazing! Wasn’t aware that there was a Cheba Hut in LA, was ecstatic to come across it in LA as a San Diego transplant. From the moment I walked in, Employees down to the owner Travis was amazing! First time getting from here and man was I impressed. I ordered through DoorDash and the order showed up about 20 min later. I ended up getting the Acapulco Gold, Pinner size which is 8”. The barbecue flavor was tasty without being overwhelming, along with pickles and perfectly cooked chicken. I recommend their garlic herb roll, great savory kick! Highly recommend this place for great quality sandwiches with well balanced flavor! The picture I posted only shows half the sandwich as I ate the first half in minutes! Great experience and excellent food. Some of the kids working there seem like they’ve been smoking on their own supply but when in Rome right? Lots of seating and TVs so you can find the perfect seat. You college kids can’t afford this place so stop taking up all the bar seats LOL!!!
