We was visiting Charleston on business and found this awesome distillery because we are bourbon drinkers and Tia, Lydia was absolutely the best and being that we are from North Carolina we purchased 3 bottles for the holidays we would definitely recommend this place some say 5 stars we say 10

We drove up to the Charleston Distillery and it was closed. Lo and behold, a super cool gentleman saw us peeking in and let us in to purchase a great bottle of Vesey’s Straight Bourbon which was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back. I’ll purchase spirits online until then.

Tia is the best. Makes the best cocktails - we love the old fashioneds. Great spot for a drink to unwind, sit out back by the fire or just stop in to see what the vibe is. We love this place!

They no longer do true tastings. You can buy a flight to try a few things, but they don’t tell you that on the website or on the recording when you call to check times etc. We went on a Saturday and you can not even buy a bottle after 7 (even though they are open until 10). We got there at 6:15. Made it clear that we were interested in trying some of their specialties and buying some bottles. Waitress took us to a table, handed us a menu and never game back. We waited patiently as we watched other tables have to go get her when they were ready to order or needed refills, and tables that came in after us got served. After about 10-15 min we just left. There were 3 waitresses/bartenders waiting on less than 15 people (it wasn’t busy at all) and 2 of them never left the bar where they stood propped up talking to what appeared to me to be regulars. If you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere and a place to try some new things, find some new favorites…save your time this isn’t the place!

Best bar/distillery ever! The service gets 10 stars alone. The drinks are ridiculous. Any of their liquors are worth the small amount you pay. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not impressive, Not great, not good, not even okay. The flavors of their liquor are very strange. Atmosphere is good and it’s visually pleasing. Overall, I do not recommend.
