Castello’s Mexican - finally a great Restaurant for the small town of Tuscumbia Alabama! Located in Historic downtown Tuscumbia by Spring Park, this place is a must try if you like authentic Mexican food! Walking thru the front doors the aroma of sizzling steak and spices awoke our senses! Tonight was our first visit, we tried a few items from the menu and every dish seemed to outdo the other! Wow on the steak Nachos- fresh flash fried tortilla wedges covered with perfectly seasoned carne asada steak and smothered with a mixture of cheese dip and shredded cheese, served with crisp lettuce, pico and sour cream 10/10! The Steak street tacos were remarkable - fresh corn tortilla filled with grilled steak, fresh onion and cilantro! Served with a couple sauces - verde salsa type sauce that maybe had an avocado base, and a spicy creamy red sauce that had amazing flavor but need to build up my spice level and a side of street corn that may have been pricy but best I’ve ever had! Fresh corn on the cob with a smoky flavor, covered in lightly spiced Mayo mixture and fresh crumbled cheese! Dessert too good to share! We are already planning our next visit!

The food was completely amazing the flavor was so good I ordered the castello special!! Yummy 😋 also service was great !!
The server took it upon there selves to add there own tip when me and my wife with our 2 kids and 2 nieces that were all under 10 years old were in there said with party of 6 they could choose there own tip were very rude about it service was so bad our drinks were empty and only filled once they messed up our order when we chose simple things would not recommend to my worst enemies this place has greedy servers that will add to your bill and mess with your food
