Darling little Mexican food restaurant that we are so glad we found! The food is fabulous. I got the Asada plate, my husband got the camerones del diablo, and my sister got chicken nachos. I’ve driven past this place for more than a year and keep telling myself I need to try it. Finally did and my only regret was that I waited so long. First time I've ever been here. There will be many more! The food was incredible! We had the Sope and the Gordita and Wow! Both items were incredible! Very authentic food and atmosphere. *I had to update my review with pictures. We drove 40 miles just to come back again for lunch. The tamales were extremely authentic and the best I've ever had. My husband and I came here a week or so ago, because we were in the area. We made the 45 minute drive just to come back and eat here again. The gorditas, the sopes, the tamales, the horchata, everything we had was so authentic and delicious! We will continue to drive 40 miles weekly to come back. Both of our new favorite restaurant! I've been told about this Mexican restaurant, and I finally made it. It was good. The salsa and chips, although not complimentary, they were good. The nachos were lacking a little bit of flavor and something tasted cold, not bad though. The sope was very good, freshly made. Try the fresh aguas de jamaica and horchata. We were on our way back from a trip to Yellowstone and decided to stop here. I like to find small places that are not chain-owned to try. This place has some of THE best food I've ever had. If you're on the fence about stopping this is your sign to do so. Everyone here is super nice and enjoy talking to their customers. There were 7 in our party and we all ordered something different to try and we agreed ALL the food tasted amazing! Quesadilla de Flor de calabaza, gorditas, pozole (not the canned hominy), the costillitas in cacahuate sauce. Everything was super tasty! Their salsa macha is to die for. If you stop here enjoy! Tried a new place tonight! It was a local shop that tasted really good! I ordered 2 chicken and 1 steak enchiladas. The flavors were very yummy and fresh. Two things that would’ve made it perfect: if it came out a little warmer. Food was just a little cooler than I like. Second, wish I had more rice! Just would’ve liked a little bigger portions. Still, very yummy place. The best thing about the dinner was the friendly, over the top service. Very welcoming, accommodating, and absolutely wonderful people there. They were so kind and checked on us throughout our dinner. Wow, I would come back just to visit with and be taken care by these people. Thank you so much! It was great to visit. We will back.
