All I can say is fantastic from the time we walked in the door. As I walked in the front door I realized they were heavily staffed and very friendly. We were seated quickly. We started with a piece of the coffee cake that is out of this world they say smothered in butter and it was. My beautiful date for breakfast ordered the vegetable quesadilla after receiving it she said it was the best quesadilla she had ever had. ❤️💪. I ordered the Florentine Benedict it was also amazing. Excellent service until we walked out the door. Definitely a top breakfast spot God willing we will be back soon .

We brought our daughter here for her birthday. We were able to check-in on the wait list ahead of time which we LOVED. We still waited about 15 minutes, which wasn’t bad AT ALL. We were seated and did notice other tables (larger parties) that were sat after us had their orders taken before us. The staff acknowledged this and apologized without us having to say anything.
We ordered the coffee cake to share. The comments at the table were that it was good, but wanted more cinnamon throughout.
We got cinnamon roll pancakes, cinnamon roll French toast, veggie omelet, California scrambler with turkey bacon and kids breakfast. We were all very pleased with our meals. My husband orders cinnamon roll French toast every time it’s on the menu and he said this one was very good. They also kept the coffee coming. We didn’t have to ask for any refills.

My second time having breakfast here. This time with my kids. I did an online waitlist because I already knew it would be a long wait, and my kids were very impatient. We still wait when we got there.
Once seated for our table, we ordered strawberry pancakes, 2 chocolate chips pancakes for the kids, and we had side dishes.
Big portion of pancakes that we had to take some home with us. Pancakes were delicious. My kids liked it.
Waitress was very attentive at first. After, they got busier that they forgot to check on us. I got my payment ready, and i placed it on the side next to the wall while waiting. One of the employee literally grabbed it from behind me without even notifying me that she will take my payment. (A BIG DISLIKE)

Waited an hour but well worth it. The food was delicious. The dish posted is California Scrambler served with Turkey Bacon with country style potatoes. The salsa was really good as well.

There’s no such thing as giving this place a bad review I swear I will personally come pay for your meal. If you are not completely satisfied and ready to do a five star review yourself! Carolyn’s is the most delicious diner I’ve ever been to, and my aunt introduced me to this place in Redlands. The coffee cake is just to die for and everything on your menu is just exquisite! The staff is so friendly and everyone is so warm and welcoming. The environment is just amazing and I can’t wait to come back! I was just here the other day and it’s already been too long to me, my aunt gets the same thing every time green chicken enchiladas I didn’t even get to take a picture of my food because I was so excited to eat it. Lol but I did take a picture of the coffee cake which is just asignature dish for them. I will literally drive over there just for coffee cake. I’m not joking, but I’ve definitely recommend this place for you family friends, neighbors, uncles relatives, and everyone else you can possibly think of! Thank you Carolyn’s for being so amazing, and providing this excellent food for us all!!
