Food was excellent and yummy. Everything was made from scratch and fresh. We ordered two wood-fired pizzas. The chicken did not taste cheap, but fresh. Please keep up the quality of food, service and atmosphere. Definitely will come back again. ..Update.. Reason for going from 5 to 2: Quality of food and service is inconsistent. The difference is obvious between the two pizza pictures, second visit I asked for extra cheese but there wasn’t much and the service was poor and rushed even though there wasn’t many costumers. So glad we stopped for dinner at this place! Came here on a Saturday night and the 30 min was easily worth it. Some of the best wood fired pizza and the combo of flavors were great. We had the hot honey, pig and pepper, and the chicken pesto. We couldn’t figure out which we liked the best because they all were so good. Finished with the s’mores calzone which is highly advised. Our sever was great as she was friendly and was there for refills and to ask if we needed anything. Definitely worth the stop. I have had this spot on my radar for quite a while after I got a recommendation from a New Haven Syle pizzeria in Cincinnati during an unexpected trip. My wife and I ended up staying near the area for a few days recently on a small vacation and I was adamant about visiting Camporosso on our way back home for lunch. We arrived a few minutes before opening and there were already around 15 people waiting outside, positive sign this place is legit. We let the crowd in before we entered into a quaint little spot that immediately seated us. The service was spot on but the food was even better. One of the specials that day was burrata which was absolutely amazing. Along with that we got a side of meatballs, a wedge salad, a wood fired pizza, and an American pizza. The wood fired pizza was some of the best I have ever had (and I am a pizza connoisseur). The crust was light and airy, yet foldable and crunchy. The sauce was delicious. I would compare this to a great New Haven Style pizza. We took the American style pizza home and ate it for dinner. I would compare it more to new York style pizza and it was also epic. Overall I would recommend this place over any that I have visited in the past 20 years since I visited NY. I would gladly drive an hour and wait over another hr just for the pizza alone. I brought my friend here due to her dietary restrictions after reading other people's reviews of the menu offering gluten free choices and by other their recommendations of how great the food tastes and the atmosphere as well. The reviews did not disappoint. We had arrived on a Saturday afternoon expecting it to be too crowded to sit inside (as it was too warm for us to be outside) but even though the place was steady, we were able to be seated the moment we arrived. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She had informed us about the pizza being made out of Caputo 00 flour which has a very low amount of gluten in it. And so, she went ahead and ordered a wood-fire pizza of half cheese and half veggies while I ordered the menu "special of the day" Chicken Parmesan. My friend could not believe how much the pizza tasted so great! (which led to even reassurance from the waitress that the pizza was very low on gluten). I tried it to see what the hype was all about and she was right you couldn't tell it was made from a "gluten free" flour. It tasted AWESOME. The restaurant also offers a lot of Gluten Free pastas so next time we go back we will have to give that option a try. I highly recommend trying out this sweet family owned place in Kentucky! I live right around the corner from this place for the last 5 years. My buddy came into visit from Santa Fe last August when my mom was dying, why I moved to this area. He tried it and loved it. So, I finally went today.. Heard great reviews about the good, what a great owner and the people who work there.. None of it was a disappointment.. Had a great meal, the deluxe Comporosso with anchovies pizza, wood burned ,2 cocktails and the desert.. Oh the desert, the tiramisu.. Everything was good but this dessert was out of this world good..!!! Sydney was my server, very warm and welcoming and the other going lady was amazing as well, wish I had gotten her name. There was another lady server, pregnant and you could see struggling a little but kept a wonderful smile on her the whole time. I have had 3 deaths very close to me, recently, and other very deep personal things going on in my life, since I moved here from Philly but this place was very refreshing and nice to be at.. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. When it comes to Italian food and pizza I'm admittedly snobby and picky. The wood oven pizza was well made, as authentic as you can get considering the location. I enjoyed the arancini and the burrata. Food looks and tastes fresh. The service is friendly and attentive. We were in Cincinnati on an event-filled weekend, and the place was super busy! Regardless, the service was smooth and efficient, food came out timely, and the atmosphere was buzzing. I am a Neapolitan pizza freak, and the pizza was really good...all the other items we got were average in presentation and flavor, sorry!
