Welch eine gemütliche Gaststätte in dem pittoresken Niehove! Ich fühlte mich wie auf einer Zeitreise zurück in meine Kindheit. Die Karte umfasst einen Mix aus indonesischer und niederländischer Küche. Die heiße Schokolade - eine Sünde wert und sehr lecker. Die Mini-Loempias - machen süchtig und sollte man probieren. Wie kann es anders sein, als dass man zum Abschluss ein Glas von Huseins hausgemachtem Sambal mitnimmt. Das kann nur gut schmecken. Die Bewirtung der Inhaber war sehr herzlich. Ik woon al een tijdje in Amsterdam, en ik probeer altijd nog rendang te vinden bij de lokale toko's die net zo smakelijk zijn als de rendang bij Husein, de kok van Eisseshof. Het ziet er naar uit dat deze zoektocht voor eeuwig door zal gaan aangezien geen van hun die van Husein kan overtreffen. Deze restaurant kan gezien worden als een bestemmings restaurant, het is zeker het rijden waard vanuit Groningen, of de dorpen in de omstreek, en gezien de historische karakter van het dorp zelf, mischien zelfs leuk voor een groep reis!
